Submitting Your Ad
Ads can be submitted in any one of three following ways:

1. Mail/Overnight Delivery
2. via Our FTP site
3. E-mail (Not to exceed 5MB in size)

Mail/Overnight Delivery
For submission by mail or overnight delivery, please send your ad (please include a suitable content proof) to:

E-mail
The maximum file size accepted through e-mail is 5MB. All files submitted via e-mail must be compressed using a program such as Stuffit® or Winzip®. Please check with the Production Department to receive prior approval before sending your ad via e-mail. The Production Department will provide you the proper e-mail address. However, content proofs are still required for electronically submitted ads.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
FTP is a simple way to transmit large files over the internet. Arabian Horse World uses a robust and highly secure FTP (File Transfer Protocol) system to allow our clients and business associates the fastest and easiest way to transport large digital files via the internet. Our FTP site is simple to use and a better alternative to burning files to CD and shipping them. However, content proofs are still required for electronically submitted ads.

Log on Credentials:

Host: ftpwest.sourceinterlink.com
User ID: ahwmag
Password: h00f (the 00s are zeros)
Directory: (Leave this field blank)

FTP Download Instructions:

1) Use Stuffit® or Winzip® application to compress your files into a single archive file. Log onto the internet using a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer* (PC users), Safari, or Firefox (mac users) or a third-party FTP software program such as Smartftp®(Windows), or Fetch®(Mac) or Transmit®(Mac).

2) In the URL address bar at the top center (not the search bar), type in: ftp://ftpwest.sourceinterlink.com

3) You will then be asked for a Username and Password.
The username is ahwmag.
The password is h00f (the 00s are zeros).

4) You will then be directed into the Arabian Horse World FTP site and should see a menu with two folders, 'In' and 'Out'. Double click on the 'Out' folder.

5) From the 'Out' folder, drag the file(s) you want to transfer, to your computer.

6) After uploading to Arabian Horse World ’s FTP site, you must contact the Production Department to inform them you have uploaded your ad(s), and provide them with the filename(s) used.

7) All files over 90 days old will be automatically deleted from the FTP site.


PC Users:
*AHW Magazine suggests that PC users use the web browser Microsoft Internet Explorer for FTP transfers. AOL and Netscape users may experience difficulty in accessing the FTP site. If problems occur call Gary Gannon at 800-955-9423 for assistance.

Macintosh Users:
**Fetch® 3.0.3 is a shareware FTP access programs that may be installed onto your computer if you are a Macintosh user. Macintosh OSX users can also use the RBrowser Lite FTP client software. Web browser access will not work on Macintosh. If problems occur call Gary Gannon at 800-955-9423 for assistance.
