The artist Bogucki will be remembered for his bronze sculpture “Mektoup,” which he reconstructed from artifacts and images of the original structure found in King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Exquisite and accurate in every detail, it remains one of finest works of art ever created featuring the Arabian horse. Journey back to May 1981 and reread the fascinating story of its creation, enhanced by stunning photographs of the sculpture.
